Heidi is a graduate from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria. Originally
from Fort St john, she moved to Nanaimo in 2018 and has been in love with the island
ever since.
She found herself seeking Massage Therapy as a career after being inspired by working
with her community to provide intuitive readings and working with children who have
ADHD, OCD, and Autism. Working one-on-one with people in these settings inspired
her to explore massage therapy as a direct therapeutic approach to working with the
nervous system to support wellness. Learning about how the body works and how
different modalities of massage can affect change has been a fascination and enriching
experience in her schooling.
Heidi blends general swedish massage techniques with trigger point therapy, myofascial
release, joint mobilizations, and range of motion techniques, working to calm the
nervous system and provide a relaxing and healing experience. Using her knowledge of
anatomy and physiology to treat a variety of systemic and Orthopedic conditions, she
has a curious mind and is passionate about managing symptoms stemming from
connective tissue disorders, whiplash, Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction, PTSD,
and scar work, whether it is to manage chronic pain, anxiety, depression or improve
function from injury or overuse. She is thorough in learning about her clients health and
needs holistically in order to achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Heidi spends time with her partner Cassie, and enjoys learning,
writing, creating art and exploring the nature of Vancouver Island. You will usually find
her listening to a variety of podcasts and sharing animal and nature facts whenever she
can. In her personal life, she is passionate about learning about the body-mind
connection and how to create holistic balance in her own life and for her community.

Hanna began her massage therapy career in 2015 working on horses as an equine massage therapist. In 2019 she ventured into the “human” world, which lead her to the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, BC.
Throughout her years of practice, Hanna has been fortunate enough to work with a multitude of different patients and conditions. Her passion for treatment lies within the nervous system, which she believes plays vital roles in the ways our bodies experience and form perceptions of both positive and adverse stimulus.
Integrating a variety of methods, using both manual and hot stone techniques, Hanna creates individual treatment plans with her patients which address specific concerns for the short and long term.
When she is not in the clinic, Hanna makes time for her own physical and mental health by exploring the woods with her dog, Beaudee, weight training at the gym or reading a book with cup of tea.
